Welcome to my weblog “JAPANESE USED CAR MEANS QUALITY AND RELIABILITY”!

I am Koji, a Japanese who worked for Mitsubishi Motors Corp., a Japanese car manufacturer and then for some world-class automotive components suppliers such as Autoliv, SKF, etc.  as an application engineer and a marketing expert for decades.

Actually, what work I did, for example, was to coordinate the overseas production of Japanese cars and trucks in South Africa and Zimbabwe, and the production of Japanese car engines in Australia. And I also coordinate the project to fit Daimler-Benz engines or Perkins engines and ZF transmissions to Mitsubishi heavy trucks that was needed to meet the localization regulation in South Africa through which I had an opportunity to meet excellent engineers at Daimler-Benz and ZF. And I was given the opportunity to visit such countries on business such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, UK, Germany, Italy, Turkey, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Australia, China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, Guam, Saipan, Brazil, Canada, the USA, etc., which also let me experience many splendid things and meet fantastic people. I would like to tell you about those things as well on this blog although these things may not relate to the Japanese cars or the Japanese used cars.

I am going to tell you about my experience in the global automotive industry, which will well explain why the Japanese cars and used cars have reliable high quality.  And I also intend to tell you some trivia related to Japanese and global automotive industries and to Japanese culture, too.

You usually obtain information on the car you are interested in from users or sales guys, service guys, which are useful information, but the information I am going to tell you in this blog is based on my experience.  This would mean you will get the information on the Japanese cars and the Japanese used cars that are provided by the guy that actually developed cars that I think is unique and hardly available usually.  Of course, I added what service guys told me about the cars they checked or fixed.  They are familiar with various kinds and brands of cars that is not only Japanese but also others, which makes it possible to well compare various vehicles from a lot of aspects.

I, myself have owned not only Japanese cars such as Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu but also European cars such as Mercedes, Volvo, VW and Jaguar, and so I believe I can well compare the difference between the Japanese cars (or Japanese used cars) and the European cars from my actual driving experience.

I believe this will help you and encourage you well choose a Japanese car or a Japanese used car.
